About Jacob
Jacob King is a graphic and typeface designer currently in the third year of his BA(Hons) in Graphic Communication with Typography at Plymouth University. His style is distinctly technical and human.
He also enjoys experimenting with new and emerging technology, motion design and playing squash.
Founded in 2012 by Jacob King, TypeSp_ce is a type foundry designing unique, high quality, usable typefaces for independent release and bespoke, one-of-a-kind typefaces for clients. With a penchant for designing distinct, textural type, TypeSp_ce’s work is often designed with headline, or level 2 copy in mind. We love all type, and like to play with everything from rigid, technical matrices, through to fluid, loose, hand drawn forms.
In addition to providing general release works, we also offer a range of type focused services, from bespoke typeface design through to consultation.
